MATTHEW KILGORE launched MJK COSTUMES in 2019 to cater to theaters producing A CHORUS LINE. As a former dancer, he has a unique perspective of the fit and style of dancewear. WIth an intimate knowledge of A CHORUS LINE (from playing Mike, Larry, Tom and Roy while covering Mark, Larry, and Bobby), Matthew strives to honor and carry on the legacy of Theoni V. Aldredge's original design in his rental packages. From Cassie's classic red leotard and skirt to Paul's orange hoodie - no detail has been overlooked.

"The skirt moves so beautifully. I'm so happy!"
“I absolutely loved the fabric and cut of this leotard/skirt. Not only did the fabric not show sweat, its silky feel stayed cool during the Cassie dance. The skirt was also a perfect length and created a beautiful flutter during the pirouettes. I will miss this costume!”
"A CHORUS LINE is one of those shows where there is a deep history behind not only every little step, and every little lighting cue, but every little stitch as well. When I received this costume piece at tech rehearsal I was overwhelmed with pride. The design of Diana's costume holds so much history, and after playing this part twice without the original costume design I can truly speak to how this element can transform an actor's heart. Technically speaking, Matthew's design is stunning and made of dancer-friendly material - making this long sleeve costume piece not only comfortable, but breathable as well!"
